It's a functional feature effective when you're running covering both sides of the baseline. The full-length outsole and separated heel help produce a more stable landing for quicker recovery in between shots. The GEL-RESOLUTION® X improves on the Gel-Resolution 9 with improved support and stability. But most importantly the shoe delivers all-day comfort.
